GT: 0-level spell and Armor DR ??

Two simple questions about Grim Tales:

What is the spell burn for a 0-level spell? Is it still d6 in the standard campaign?

When using Armor as DR, is there/should there be a minimum of 1 point of damage on a successful hit, even if the armor has DR of, say, 9, and the attack is only capable of doing 8 points max?

IMO (which is in no way affiliated with Wulf's)...

1/2 the normal burn die. So, if you're using d6, burn would be 1d3 for a 0 level spell, 1d2 for d4, and 1d4 for d8.

Alternatively, you could just decrease the die one step for 0 level spells - in that case, you'd roll a d4 for 0 level spells. Of course, there's an argument to be made for including 0 level spells at all....

No. Just because someone managed to make contact doesn't automatically mean they'll be able to hurt you with that contact.

That is not the intent of the rules in Grim Tales. However, it seems like a perfectly reasonable house rule to me, though I might specify that it's a point of subdual damage if the attack was lethal, and no point if the attack was subdual.

Is there a true-DR variant in GT? I know the most popular variant is FDH, which is CONVERSION and not actual DR.

With conversion, if you hit a guy in a Chain Shirt (what I call "cnv 4") for 3 hp of damage, all three of those points are converted to Nonlethal damage with no Lethal damage getting through. With FDH, people still drop at the same time ... in the course of a battle, Nonlethal and Lethal are largely the same thing. FDH merely lets the heroes recover faster between battles and leaves them mostly intact even if they're defeated.

It is in the errata file.

From Errata said:
: 0 level spells cause spell burn equal to 1/2 the base spell burn die (d3 for a d6 base die, d4 for a d8 based die, etc.)
