Sure! Which vowel did you want?

AFAIK, the list is *mostly* accurate. I think there are a couple of names that are entirely inaccurate, and I've occasionally miscounted the number of letters. Apologies there.

I can confirm that there are two "Cleric of" in the list, but they aren't clerics of Bahamut or Tiamat...

Cheers!

The clue is: Y***-** **** ***** *******

Consensus says the hyphenated portion is Yuan-ti. I hope so. Yuan-ti are my favorite D&D villains. We need more varieties of Yuan-ti in D&D minis, like a snakes-for-arms Monk or the Yuan-ti Anathema from the Fiend Folio (sadly the Anathema looks like it will have to wait until the next huge set).

Back to the puzzle. Yuan-ti + four letter word + five letter word + seven letter word. I'm not familiar with many three word classes or prestige classes that fit those letter requirements. Another problem is that in previous sets the types of Yuan-ti, Pureblood and Halfblood, have been listed as one word. If not for this incongruity, either Pure Blood or Half Blood would fit the middle part of the puzzle. Then we'd just need a seven word class or prestige class. E.g. the Soulbow from Complete Psionic. Yuan-ti are naturally psionic afterall.

Serpent Kingdoms introduces a couple of new types of Yuan-ti, the Holy Guardian and the Mageslayer. Mageslayer is one word and even separated into Mage Slayer it contains too many letters. Holy fits the four letter portion of the puzzle. Guardian might be shortened to Guard to fit the five letter portion. So we might have a Yuan-ti Holy Guard + seven letter word. Aside from the aforementioned Soulbow, what are other seven letter classes and prestige classes? From the supplements I possess, I've come up with the following.

Fighter, Paladin, Duelist, (War Mind), Warlock, Warmage, Maester, Tempest, Samurai, Dervish, & Mindspy. Anyone know of others?

Interesting possibilities, but I've got a nagging feeling that I'm off track because nothing fits naturally without shortening or separating words. I look forward to seeing what the mini actually turns out to be.

That clue should probably be

Y***-** ********* ********

It's one of the mistypings I'm aware of. (But I haven't had the time at home to update the page)

Cheers!

Yuan-Ti Pureblood Sorcerer is the first one that springs to mind.

Ok, this means that either pureblood or halfblood is the likely second word of the puzzle. The last word changed to eight letters, invalidating my previous list of potential classes and prestige classes. Time for a new list. NiTessine already listed Sorcerer.

Archmage (unlikely), Assassin, Beguiler, Elocator, Metamind, Alienist, Geometer, Exemplar, Shugenja, Blighter, Hexblade, Cavalier (also unlikely).

I agree with NiTessine that Sorcerer is a likely choice, but I believe Assassin to be another strong possibility. Serpent Kingdoms introduced Tathtlasss, a female pureblood yuan-ti rogue 4/assassin 1; CR 8. I know this is not a unique piece but purebloods often serve the role of assassins and spies.

While less likely I'd enjoy seeing either an Elocator, from the Expanded Psionics Handbook or a Beguiler from the Players Handbook II. I like Elocator because of Yuan-ti's natural psionic abilities and the fact that the Elocator's class abilities would be cool to see in D&D minis. I like Beguiler because it fits into the whole snake charming, manipulation, aspect of the Yuan-ti. Either of these two will make me very happy, but I'm just plain happy to be getting another Yuan-ti mini.

My guesses are (in no particular order): Yuan-ti Pureblood Assassin, Yuan-ti Halfblood Sorcerer, Yuan-ti Pureblood Elocator, and Yuan-ti Halfblood Beguiler. I'll keep hoping for the Anathema in the next huge set.

From the MMIV back cover text:
Finally, the book provides varieties of existing monsters such as the drow arcane guard, the orc battle priest, and the yuan-ti pureblood slayer.

Sure, it doesn't match the number of letters, but we've already seen the Drow Arcane Guard in minis...
