I'm sorry to hear about Jon (Templetroll) and Rich -- I'm more bummed about not seeing you guys than about losing the two players!

Yes, I was very much lookinmg forward to seeing you again as well, Henry. Ah well, I'll be there in January unless there is a big snow that weekend, and nothing is going to stop me from attending April's weekend of games. If nothing else, I'll catch up with you then.

Alenda and I will not be able to attend the pre-dinner. We need to save our money for the post-dinner and for a house that we hope to buy by late November.

Historically speaking, the dinner frequently runs until close to 10:00 so you might still make part of it, even if you opt to eat before you get there.

I want to eat Italian food and talk smack about how cool my 45th level Paladin/Monk/Rogue/Assassin/Blackguard/Barbarian/half-fire giant is, but it'll just have to wait until next time...

I think the fact that most of the "out of towners" couldn't make it this time around is a big reason why the dinner is falling a bit flat this time out. You guys are the ones that roll into town in the early evening and get to choose between dinner with other ENWorlders vs. hanging out at your hotel room watching repeats of movies on HBO.

I'm not going to be upset if the dinner doesn't come together this time around. I'm just trying to get folks to let me know if they're interested so I don't scrub the whole thing only to find out that some were interested in attending.
