guessing CMGs next product

There was a company a while back that did D20 mini-settings based on Shakespeare's works. Other literary sources would be neat. D20 Jules Verne or H.G. Wells come to mind.
I bought some of those. Calling them settings is really giving them a lot more credit than is really appropriate. They were like longer Giants in the Earth articles.

I would make a guess here, but I think I would be disqualified. Sometimes being an insider is a disadvantage. ;)

I have a dilemma. There are three things vying to be completed and I've only given a clue for one of them, yet it is the other two that have come closest to being guessed (one right on the money). It must have been a bad clue. I had better come up with another clue and hope it helps people guess that one, too. :)

This is really wishful thinking on my part, but I'd like to see a product that alters d20 Fantasy classes for d20 Modern, and vice versa.

I've thought about writing this sort of thing up myself. Keep the d20Mod basic classes, but each fantasy d20 class becomes a advanced class. Or something to that effect.

I'd guess he's coming up with a npc/pc builder. Not necessarily computerized. He keeps asking about how often you see/use X. Based on that he can develop tables that can be used to generate NPC or loot piles or a city demographics or a magic shop.
If you've seen Vascant's NPCGenerator - a non-computer based version of that.

Well, let me see what my crystal ball tells me. Ok, let me go based on recollections from previous conversations, the crystal ball is in the fritz. As usual.

Things in the future could be... Cooperative Dungeon #5. I think he mentioned dragons. Or was it treasure, I could be mistaking something back during the Collaborative Cave thread.

Dragon would be a better guess regarding a play on words.

The trick I think is knowing what he's most interested in right now. Which means someone should go comb the threads in the TV/media section ;)

Why has no one mentioned rabid fluffy bunnies with guns?! :uhoh:

I think it would be cool to see some real ecologies. I miss good ecologies. Hrm...

I'd like to see another collaborative dungeon.

I came close to using the marilith one, but the PCs chose to follow up on different campaign plots.

Some great ideas in this thread! As far as media, I am always combing real world history for new gaming ideas. The particular book for which I have already given a clue, that no one has come close to guessing yet, has a direct relationship to a couple of recent books I was reading. I am not sure if it really gives a good clue to tell you this but they were both fiction and neither was written in this century or the last. That should get some people thinking. And feel free to guess as often as you like, btw. :)

I guess if my "One 4 EN!" promotion is going to help EN World, I'd better hurry up and get at least one of the three books that I have in the pipeline finished quickly! :)

Groundbreakers: A Guide To Invention And Innovation In A Medieval Setting

History In The Making

The Eagle's Livery

Hmmm... Do you have any idea how many fictional books get written in a century? hehehe...
