Guild listing and philosophy

Sniper o' the Shrouds
Guild: Enduring Nobility
Affiliation: Alliance
Guild Leader: Keiro
Guild Contacts: Athtyr, Eloi, Scrill, Vaslov, anyone in the guild.
Guild Type: Adventuring and Social. Most importantly, Functional. Heavy RP-friendly, but not stuffy.
Website: http://www.enworld.org/forumdisplay.php?f=241
Main Attractions: Possibly the most functional guild on Feathermoon.
Philosophy: Enduring Nobility endeavors first and foremost to be a family-friendly environment. Originally an outgrowth from the enworld.org messageboards, we have grown past those beginnings, and include more (originally) non-ENWorld members as those from the site. With this in mind, we maintain in our guild chat the infamous grandmother rule. And of course, any member of the guild is encouraged to register at ENWorld (a popular d20/DnD website) for access to the guild forum and to discuss other aspects of roleplaying, especially those related to d20 and Dungeons and Dragons. Also, just like at ENWorld, it is considered impolite to discuss politics or debate religion (especially real life) in guild chat.

Second, Enduring Nobility seeks to foster, if not an active role-playing environment, at the very least one that does not disrupt the fantasy nature of World of Warcraft. While limited internet abbreviations are acceptable, most members endeavor to not break immersion with net-isms like roflcopter. However, some polite discussion of real life is bound to happen in guild chat. We are family in game, and strive to be friends in real life. In addition, as at least one member of the guild is gay, it is considered highly impolite to refer to objects and events that are unfavorable as "gay".

Third, it is inappropriate to seek real life personal information about Nobility members. Enduring Nobility is not a dating service.

Fourth, look to the needs and wants of your guildmates. Obey Scrill's Law: Friends > Loot.

Finally, we are not a dedicated PvP guild. Some of our brothers and sisters enjoy PvP, others do not. Such is life. Always remember respect for your guildmates.

Level Requirement: none

Guild structure: One Greatfather, several Godparents (to perform administrative duties), and many Elders. New members are brought into Adoptee, then youngling status. Ultimately every family member can expect to be a clansman. For the friendly nature guild for which we strive, this suits us. Certain individuals are Little Sisters, and I've got one more to play with. Watch out Gilbort!

Vision: Enduring Nobility is not looking to be the largest guild in Feathermoon. We do believe that we are now and can continue to be as supportive a guild for all members at all levels as any guild is capable of. Materiel and personnel support is frequent--assume any need can be met or coordinated, given time.

Words from our founder:
-Carry yerselves as the champions of nobility ye are.

-Support yer guildmates! With time, with coin, with gear, and with blood.

-Defend our lands!

While we are not actively pursuing new members, some people that we spend a great deal of time with that share this philosophy may be invited to join us.

Boss made a few changes, but hasn't updated the post yet, so...

Elder is now Clansman, and either Sibling or Youngling, don't remember which, got the boot. We also acquired a few Little Sisters :)

Just a quick note to point out that Eldritch Night is essentially just Enduring Nobility on the horde side. All the same rules apply.
