I enjoy a good animal porn now and again. :)

I had downloaded some rather nasty stuff off Bearshare a while back. One was titled "Indian woman with horse" It got downloaded off my machine more than any other file I had.

Hmm, what definies a guilty pleasure? Something you don't want to admit you like? Something you know is cheesy or lame but you still like?

That's it exactly!

Universe reminded me how much I used to love listening to Art Bell "Coast to Coast" when I worked over nights. I sooooooo wanted to run an Alternity campaign then.

many of the things mentioned are guilty pleasures, such as Reality TV, Neil Diamond and Deperate Housewives, but here are a few more.

MTV. No matter how stupid the shows are, I watch them all.

DeGrassi TV. In all its different incursions. From Kids of Degrassi street, to Degrassi Jr. High, to Degrassi high, to Degrassi: The Next generation. I've watched them all.

Britney Spears. No matter how skanky she has proven to be, I still like to watch her shake her thang.

Pop Culture. For some reason, I can't help but follow gossip about Paris Hilton et all.

My absolute favorite zany "theory?" The "Hollow Earth" myth - that the earth is completely hollow, and that (alternatively) we actually live inside the sphere or that there is an entire society (usually populated by aliens, nazis, or both) living in the interior world.

My favorite series when I was a kid was the Pellucidar series by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The hollow world filled with savage cultures and dinosaurs ruled in fear by psionic flying reptilian humanoids.... perfect fuel for gaming.

I'm a big fan of conspiracy theories and paranormal investigation. The plausible ones are interesting, and the crazy ones are really, really funny.

I do have a guilty pleasure in Lovecraft pastiche stuff. Yeah, it's just published fanfiction, and a lot of it sucks, but I like it. The "guilty" comes from how I always feel wierd taking, say The Disciples of Cthulhu to the bookstore or library counter.

Demiurge out.

Actually, the derro came from somebody else's crazy hollow earth theories. The idea was that the earth was filled with Detrimental Robots (DERO) that used their psychic powers and crazy machinery to make life miserable for the hu-mans. It was obviously really just bad science fiction, but the author passed it off as real.

Demiurge out.
