Guilty Pleasures

I wish there was someone like that here in the UK... heard about Art Bell from a book called 'The men who stare at goats' - which is a great conspiracy book (and nothing to do with what die_kluge was talking about. ).

Do they make for fun listening?

Jeff Rense sounds amusing. Does his attitude get them to open up a little more?

Art Bell only hosts Coast to Coast occasionally now, I think. He's semi retired. Here's the link to the show. For a small subscription fee, you can listen to the show live as it streams as well as hear archived shows. It's darn near worth the money.

Jeff Rense also has live streaming of his broadcasts.

So put on your tinfoil hat, turn off the government implanted chip in your brain stem, and enjoy!

Hey, that's my line! ;)

I also like The Contender a lot, and seem to find myself watchinght Apprentice every week even though I kow it's trash. :)

I never watched The Apprentice or American Idol until this year. While being laid up after my accident and surgery, my son asked me to watch them with him. Now I'm hooked on them, and it gives me and the boy stuff to talk about that doesn't involve Yu-Gi-Oh.

The Village People.

When they came out, I was far too young to know exactly what they were meaning by "you can do whatever you feel" down at that YMCA.

Now that I do know, their songs are still catchy...

It's okay - you can listen to The Village People, and still be a "Macho Man." And if they don't ask, and you don't tell, you can even still go "In The Navy." ;)

Cool. Thanks for those, will check them out!

It sounds like a giggle from what I've heard!

Edit: I just did. Wah! The front page pick on Rense's site is one of the more disturbing things I've seen recently:

Thank you, thank you - I'll be here all week. Two shows Saturday. Try the soup, and don't forget to tip your waitresses.

Funny, my guilty pleasure is "tipping waitresses" IYKWIMAITYD. ;)

Actually I'm just kidding about that. My true guilty pleasure is plotting about all the ways I could take a corkscrew to Torm's frontal lobe to remove the part that posts song puns.

*sigh* Someday...someday...

My wife read this post over my shoulder and said to tell you that "U Can't Touch This." :p

Watching Gilmore Girls.

Buying gas station snacks on the way to my night classes.

Keeping Libray's DVDs past the due date and then have my wife remove the fines.
but really can you watch a season of West Wing or Angel in a week?

Late Nights in Studio. yeah lots of work gets done. Sure.
