GURPS settings appreciation thread

GURPS IST is one of my favourite superhero worlds.
Superheroes, a U.N. with teeth...sold!
I liked it so much I updated it on my blog.

A setting created by the guiding hand of George RR Martin no less.

er where does it say this?

I like the way GURPS Banestorm does Goblins a lot.
They can be sneaky, but they are also communal and all mad scientists at heart.

I once made a goblin duelist/swashbuckler that was an absolute blast to play.

They are the default short species of that world, and they are so low-cost that they can be customized to your heart's content, while still being your crazy but loyal friend. :)

GURPS Illuminati was a fantastic book that I still use the pics as memes to this day. It breaks my heart that we missed the window when conspiracies were fun and not incredibly problematic.

I also really liked GURPS Humanx. I'd love to see this done as a movie, as it adds a unique perspective to a space opera and is fun in its own right. I never understood why it was never made as a tv show, movie or video game.

I loved GURPS world books and have a bookshelf full of them to this day. I've used them for GURPS and other systems. I don't know that I've really used any as-written, at least not fully.

I thought Banestorm was a good backdrop for mash-ups. Drop in a group from another world book and you've got adventure seeds right there.

I also liked GURPS Traveller, the rules and lore were a good fit I thought. I've never been a Traveller lore stickler so I didn't really care much about the mind any lore changes.

Transhuman Space was also a really cool setting. I thought it was pretty clever setting. I didn't get to use it as much as I wanted to unfortunately.
