Hail of Stones (SC)

Hi Folks,

Am I correct in reading the spell Hail of Stone (from SC page 108) that it could potentially hit 4 small or medium sized targets (a 10' x 10' x 40' high cylinder) or am I just not interpreting it correctly?

Look's like it. It's a pretty "ew" spell though with a round casting time.

Yep- you're reading it right. Decent spell, moderate damage- but with too long of a casting time.

Edit: You could actually hit 32 creatures if they were all standing on each others shoulders...

Long casting time, but having no saving throw helps to make up for it.

It's a fun spell - Wik uses it in to great effect in our dagonmarked campaign.
