halberd two weapon?

I was reading over Complete Warrior again and noticed the halberd style that lists two-weapon fighting as a pre-req for the Spinning halberd style. There isn't something somewhere indicating the halberd can be used as a double weapon is there? I'm thinking it is just an extra attack and the two-weapon is just there for flavor as the pre-req.

Another question though regarding the halberd and other ready against the charge weapons is if there is any feat anywhere that allows you to use up an AoO or something of some sort to quickly ready the weapon for a charge.

A halberd isn't a double weapon (even with the Spinning Halberd style). You're not actually making use of the TWF feat when using the style feat; it's just a prereq. (Just like it's unusual to be using the Point Blank Shot feat while you're using the Far Shot feat )

Check out the Steadfast Boots in the A&EG - it's not the feat you're looking for, but while wearing them, you're always considered set against a charge. (From memory.)

Not really, it's common if you use throw weapons.

His point is, the fact that PBS is a prereq for FS doesn't mean that you get the PBS bonuses when you're using the FS feat. That's all.

... which isn't all that common in itself... most ranged specialists go for a bow

But if you prefer, it's just like you don't need to be using Power Attack in order to Cleave.

Spinning Halberd requires that you have the TWF feat, but doesn't utilise the TWF feat.
