You quoted the wrong part of my post.

Go back and read the part where they already go over this in the rules.

BTW ... take no offense ... I just really don't have a response other than what I DID SAY:

And ... in response to all of you slamming the race and saying I stink and stuff, DA-LEETED.

Nah ... just kidding ... I just like to give my players a unique experience. We play an online game ... I do all the rolling ... so there is very little ROLLPlaying, its all entirely ROLEPlaying, so it works much better.

As for whether it is possible ... I am guessing it isn't normally ... but it also isn't normally possible for a Moon Elf and a Mountain Orc to both be Chaotic Good and fall in love with each other ... which is why I allowed it in the first place.

So let me re-iterate:

And once again ... I did this because I ...

Understand now?

Guess not ...

OK ... really ... I'm just kidding.

I did this because I really want the character to be unique and the girl is a huge Tolkien fan ... so I know she can accurately play the race ... (and besides, it isn't a common race whatsoever ... she might be the only one of her kind).

My players tell my I am a very forgiving and generous GM at character creation, and the Devil himself once play starts ... cause I like to pull stuff off that isn't in the rules for dramatic effect.

But hey ... its ok if you want to be strict on the rules ... every GM/DM has his own style ... mine is just much more 'Chaotic Evil' than your 'Lawful Good' style ...

Um... you know where you are, right?

In the Rules Forum, "strict on the rules" is what we do.

This is where you find out what the rules are.

If you want to know how people think they should be, or what changes work or don't work, or what interesting ideas people have had about half-orc/elf crossbreeds, you might feel more comfortable here.

Ok ... I was just joking around ... but now, being serious:

I used the DMG's race creation rules, and according to what is already OFFICIAL as +1 level adjusted races ... this one is way under.

So what the hell? Yes this forum is for discussing the rules, and what they mean ... yet about 3/4 of what you post personally (I just clicked your last 16 posts Smurfboy) is just joking around crap right here in this forum ... so shut the hell up.

Besides ... I already have a GM's mindset ... you could point out a pagenumber from GOD's Rulebook and I'd tell you to shut up ... cause when I'm GM, I'm GOD ... and that IS A ****IN' RULE.

All I was doing was looking for some comments ... which I got and took some of the advice, dialing the character back a bit.

But what ISN'T there in the rules is the same thing that ISN'T there in the DROW race (another somewhat overpowered race [+6, -2] even for a level adjusted +2 race) ... they are almost completely shunned.

A Good Drow has no place in EITHER society ... both want to kill him ... the same for a Orc/Elf ... Elves want to kill it because they are biased against all orcs, whether they are good or evil, and Orcs are biased against elves period ...

And humans (the largest population of faerun) generally don't like either race too much, although they tolerate half-orcs and tolerate elves. Not too many humans are heads-over heals about elves, because they are so conceited.

And if you start quoting crap without taking into account that this isn't a GREYHAWK race ... it is for the FORGOTTEN REALMS ... then doubly shut up. Greyhawk is crap ... its a lousy setting.

And since I'm suddenly in a bitchy mood ... Corellan and Gruumush might not like the idea of this Half-Breed ... but then again ... I am Ao ... so they have to listen to me ...

You might think this race is overpowered ... but wait until the other characters in the group discover that she is half-orc/half-elf ... wait until it is commonly known that such an "abbomination" exists ... this is the downside ... that ... and the +1 lvl adjustment ...

But then again ... humans have no downside what so ever? Does every race need a 'bad side'. Why is this so hard to accept? That a GM might want to do something 'out-side' the box ... I freakin don't even come here much ... and I told my players this was a good site for all things D20 ... &$^# that ... with a$$&*l#$ like gaySmurf ... I'll go to the non_rule's lawyers forum ....

You know ... the creative one ... where people use that lump 3ft above their a$$.

Rules Lawyer? Call me whatever you want, dude. I'm just trying to point out that they've already covered this.

Now, what I see (heck, if we're gunna call 'em like we see 'em), is somebody trying to eek out more from the rules than is actually allowed -- someone trying to bend rues to their benefit, without taking any negatives.

Now what's that called?

oh yeah....

HELLO, EVERYBODY!

(Just thought I'd get everyone's attention.)

Seriously, let's please cease with the name-calling and insult-hurling. It's an interesting thread, but a little more politeness and respect is needed.

Thanks, all!
