Hey Hal,
I love your map, and may adopt it for my next setting. One question...do you have a copy without the borders ( red lines )? I can live with those, but bigger than that, do you have one without the cities placed. It's a long story, but the PC's have little knowledge of the continent, having just been resurrected after 1000 years, to a continent ravaged by an undead army. there really are no more cities, but ruins, and just small pockets of living beings....
 

How did you do the mtns? I have worked on several maps in PS and thats always been the part that kills me.

I can't get Mtns I like.
 



Yes, I am. Sorry for the long hiatus. I have been away from the boards almost a month now. I was half-way done with a how-to when my harddrive crashed. I will start again.

I hope the have the complete how-to finished soon. I may, in fact, have to post it in parts so you guys can see the progress.

EDIT: I just happened to dig up a map for a book I have been planning to write for almost seven years now. I did it a long time before I started playing D&D, but now that I look at it, it looks like it would make a pretty good D&D map.
