I'm thinking of doing this recipe this weekend. I have all the ingredients except the parsley. Never been a fresh parsley guy.

Danny what do you think the sour cream is for flavor and moisture? Do you think shredded cheese could do a similar job? I might have some nacho cheese around still. I'm asking about cheese because I'm thinking of also trying a southwestern variant with onions, peppers, and a southwest seasoning.
Dried parsley would probably be fine. Chives might also work.

Sour cream is probably mostly for moisture & flavor, as you guessed. If you sub a shredded cheese, you’ll have to watch your cooking time more closely- it might cook faster than the 5min she stated in the video because it won’t be as moist. You might be able to counter that with a little cream or milk.

And the tanginess of sour cream could be mimicked by using a little mustard powder or- again, adding moisture- a dollop of mustard.

Greek yogurt might also work as a moist and tangy ingredient.

My cat appears to like chili cheese Fritos. She seemed very insistent to get to them as I was eating. I took a few crumbs and tiny pieces and held them out to her. She ate them right out of my hand. I don't think I've had a cat eat out of my hand like that.

The opening ceremony for the Olympic games in Paris was quite interesting. I liked the masked person doing parkour on the roofs and delivering the torch as well as the masked rider on the Seine.. Was told that it was supposed to be a representation of the spirit of the river. I think that is something that could be worked into a rpg-scenario though.

And that short sequence with the metal band Gojira playing was awesome especially combined with the opera.

And I loved the Minions-sequence. ;)

TL,DR version of how my day started:

Mom & her sister inherited their mom’s house in the 1980s. Mom wanted to be bought out; never happened.

That aunt passed away 2 years ago, so now Mom co-owns the house with 3 of her nephews. Mom asked to be bought out, using me as her legal agent. Today, the middle son told her (via texting me) to “naughty word off.” Plus more ugliness.

I haven’t told my parents this yet. It’s going to be a big disappointment.

I don't understand the reaction. Why be so hostile? Why has it gone on for so long? This has been mentioned before, but I don't remember all the details. Could your mother buy them out? She could then sell the house to recoup her losses.

We have no clue as to why this has become hostile.

As to the decades? My aunt was unquestionably irrational about the whole thing from the start. Any time Mom broached the subject of a buyout, my aunt blew a gasket. So Mom would relent for a few months or years.

Basically, we’ve wound up exactly where we never wanted to be.

Dude, I am sorry about that. These kinds of financial disagreements and arguments within families are a real shame. I hope that you and your mother can keep your equipoise as you navigate it.

According to Google, these are edible mushrooms called Penny Buns.

I've seen a lot of mushrooms around lately, but these are in my yard. I'm thinking of trying them, but am a little nervous. lol

I think there's only one solution.
I'll bring the shovels, tarps, and duct tape. The rest is up to you.

What? I'm talking about helping a friend with storm damage. I don't know what you're talking about.
