Just spent an hour at my dad's place trying to get his damned puter to acknowledge that it was already logged in to the damn wifi...

My old man constantly manages to break technology in new and interesting ways that aren't actually possible.

I've been looking at the Marvel Multiverse RPG. There is an action called fastball special. This is where one character throws an ally to assist them. It has a picture of Colossus throwing Wolverine. 🤣🤣🤣 I'm trying to find the rule for throwing things. That wasn't what I had in mind when I started my quest. lol

I'm curious to find out how far a strong character (Hulk, Thor) could throw say a crocodile. In my mind's eye I see them grab it by the tail and spin Olympic hammer throw style.

I like the approach of this book. You can play as a known hero. They're just from a different universe and you can put your own spin on it. No "That's not how so and so would act." More like "That's how so and so would act in THIS universe."

That's where the move comes from - Colossus and Wolverine have been doing that move in the comics since the eighties...

Also, 3.5-related meme...

RW physics: regardless of their strength, factors like crocodile aerodynamics and physical integrity will limit the distance. At some point, the croc’s tail would rip off, or the critter would be turned into a fine red mist by the buffeting of the atmosphere.

Comic book physics: MILES, possibly orbital heights.

I was thinking Gene Roddenberry's answer to how fast the ship goes. At the speed of plot.

As far as needed.

I just learned of Warp World. We NEED Warp World movies, and we need them NOW! Come on, Deathstique, Peter Rogers, Ghost Panther, WEAPON HEX!

Borderlands is a video game movie that doesn't suck. It's also an Eli Roth movie that doesn't suck. Mortal Kombat might be the only other video game movie I actually liked. The original and the recent remake. Why is it so hard to make a good video game movie?

I didn't go into watching as a Borderlands fan. Never played the games. Know nothing of the lore. It's a scifi action movie that looked fun. Also someone uploaded the whole movie to YouTube, so it was free. LOL
