Back in the day Xcrawl used 3rd edition D&D rules. I'm looking back at some of the books from then. In a lot of ways I think I like it more. The art was better in my opinion. D&D gave a lot more character options. Spell casting was easier. The humor has stayed the same. I just read a section of a module that has werecockroaches. WERECOCKROACHES!!

How about this; a beer golem? It's a giant beer stein with a face on it similar to the Kool-Aid Man. There is a +2 longsword called the Braumeister. On a crit the sword says "Presented to you by Beertown Classic Brewery". Also it can turn 8 gallons of fresh water into beer.
