But there’s likely a deeper bench of actresses with actual and/or theatrical/cinematic martial arts training in Asia than there is here. Plus some more Asian-centric mythological and aesthetic elements could breathe a lot of life into a remake/homage to The Crow.

Besides that, the focal change would be aimed at a HUGE international market.
