Just wanted to say to all of us Canadians out there Happy Thanksgiving.

Woot! Thank you!
Just got back from my sister's place in Ottawa where my mother was visiting. Mum cooked up a dinner that had us moaning in pain from stuffing ourselves, then promptly pulled out pumpkin pie, apple crisp, whipped cream, and gourmet ice creams (I tasted some of the creme brule and the chocolate raspberry, drooooool)!

Happy Thanksgiving to Canada!!!

I hope our Canadian members had a lot to be thankful for this year.

Quick question: In the U.S., Thanksgiving is associated with the Pilgrims. Is there any group of people or event that Canada's Thanksgiving Day is associated with in particular?

Thanks! I'm thankful my Quantum Mechanics midterm went so well. :)

As to your question, I don't think so. I think it's more of a generalized "homage to the bounty this year has brought us" and whatnot. That's good enough for me! :D

Edit: Fixed up my typoes.

Bah, my professors all seem insane, they've decided to have the midterms following Thanksgiving, I have 2 on Tuesday and 1 on Friday. Instead of thanks, I get to ignore my family for another weekend and study until my eyes glaze over...

But thanks nonetheless!

Three mid-terms prior to thanksgiving...

And one next week. A whole week sans mid-terms, with only six assignments due instead.
