HARN RPG products 30% off sale!!!

I would get Melderyn, Castles of Orbaal, and Kingdom of Orbaal. The latter two are different even though the history is the same. I think that combined you will get 8 locations and one of them is Noron's Keep, which IMO, is one of the coolest places on Hârn.

Other than those three anything with a kingdom, castle, or city in it is recommended. Kiraz is only good IMO with the other two adventures Staff of Fanon and Curse of Hlen. I would leave Shorkyne alone unless you want everything. Not much usable there when gaming Hârn.

Hear, hear... It seems I am not the only one gaming Hârn. But I am working for CGI though.

But yet I find time to get ready to publish the d20 Harn Guide.

I like Harn pretty well but I am not sure the synergy between D20 and Harn is very good

Harn is low powered, low magic, low monster, skill oriented

D&D is the exact opposite.

If Harnmaster doesn't click for you (it didn't for me) there

is always GURPS

Another good match would be Chivalry and Sorcery which IIRC all ready has a couple of dual stated modules

As for D&D well the Harn Guide is really good but class/level etc just isn't Harn.

Of course there is Ken Hoods Grim N Gritty hmm.....

LOL thanks. :)

I placed my last minute order: Barbarians of Harn, Castles of Orbaal, Melderyn, Orbaal.

Also picked up their new pdf downloads of Dunir Keep and Innkeeper. Well done, especially Dunir Keep!

Hmm... I think around $400, but I've pretty much got everything now, LOL. I will admit that the stuff is way overpriced (especially for the format and page to $ ratio), but the content is extremely realistic, believable and gripping. I have read a bit of everything and been extremely impressed with the level of internal consistency, history and attention to detail that is clearly evident on every page. No other fantasy setting even comes close to Harn in this regard. It feels like a real place with a real history, which is no easy feat for a fantasy world. It certainly lives up to its claim of being "a real fantasy world."

I wouldn't have kept buying it after my initial purchase in early May if the material wasn't consistently meeting (but usually) exceeding my high expectations! :)
