Harrier's Ploy

I have hit an enemy with the Level 1 Fighter Daily Harrier's Ploy. If he is 1 square away from me and tries to move, can I shift adjacent to him, so I can strike with oppurtunity attack when he moves?

Check page 268 under immediate reactions. I don't recall what Harrier's Ploy does, but if it's an immediate reaction, you can interrupt his movement at any time after he's moved at least one square.

Thanks a lot. Now I only want a third opinion. Two out of three wins.

As chitzk0i says, your immediate reaction can trigger after any square of movement.

So if there's one square between you, and he moves away, your Harrier's Ploy will trigger when there are two squares between you. If your Dex bonus is +1 or less, you won't be able to get adjacent to him with your shift; if it's +2 or greater, you will, and if he continues to move he'll draw an OA.

If a creature triggers your immediate reaction while moving (by coming into range, for example), you take your action before the creature finishes moving but after it has moved at least 1 square.

So, chitzk0i and Hypersmurf are right.
