Henry said:EUNUCH TEMPLATE
“Eunuch” is an acquired template that can be added to any male creature in a martial arts film.
A Eunuch uses all the base creature’s statistics and special abilities except as noted here.
Size and Type: The creature’s Type and Size is unchanged. Hey, we MEAN it.
Hit Dice: Increase all current and future Hit Dice to d10s. These bad-boys than really take a beating.
Speed: +10 to the speed of the base creature. They also gain a climb rate equal to their speed. Walking on and jumping from walls is a prime hobby for the eunuch.
Armor Class: The base creature’s gains a +6 dodge bonus. He ain't light for nothin', pal.
Attack: A eunuch retains all the attacks of the base creature and also gains multiple unarmed attacks if it didn’t already have one. If the base creature can use weapons, the eunuch retains this ability. A eunuch's unarmed strikes count as armed.
Damage: As the base creature if fighting with weapons, or 1d12 damage + strength bonuses if unarmed.
Special Qualities: The eunuch speaks in a whiny voice. 30% of Eunuchs move their mouths totally out of sync with the words that they say.
Abilities: Increase from the base creature as follows: Str +4, Dex +6, Con +0, Int +0, Wis +0, Cha +0. This template makes them incredibly tragic, yet incredibly fast and cool.
Skills: Eunuchs have a +50 racial bonus on Jump and climb checks. See Speed, above.
Organization: Solitary, gang (3–5), or "palace-load" (10–40)
Challenge Rating: Same as the base creature +2.
Alignment: Always evil (any).
Advancement: By character class. They also have their favored classes changed to either sorcerers or monks, which is chosen at the time they gain the template.
Level Adjustment: Same as the base creature +8. The mooks may get it cheap, but you ain't, buddy.

ph0rk said:Since the base rules do not differentiate between male and female characters, I doubt eunuchs require a template, reaction modifiers, or the like. The core rules do not have much in the way of gender-specific rules, so I'd say they function the same as before, "Crunch" wise.
"Fluff" wise, there may be a few differences![]()

That's a good point. Castrati had high voices because they were castrated before puberty, so it would be appropriate for a castrato-type eunuch to be handled by a Template, Trait or Background Feat, whereas a Harem Guard or Eunuch Warlock are appropriate for PrCs (since the character doesn't have to start play as a eunuch).Gez said:Any Eunuch template worth its salt should grants a +5 racial bonus to Perform (Singing), 'cause it's known castrats have the prettiest voices. Once upon a time, the Vatican employed them... See Farinelli for an illustration.
