I think it just seems so odd that you'll still get a slightly better deal for the books from Amazon than you would from RPGNOW's pdf price. ($23-ish versus $24). If I were putting a point price on 4th edition, I would have gone with a $20 target price, per "book".

So no, I'm not going to get the pdf stuff for now.

For an electronic file I wouldn't break the $20 price point - and I'd only go that high if I had a money-back guaranty that all Errata would be promptly published in a format that updated my purchased document, and not in the "add an appendix with errata" update either - I mean my version of the document now has the correct text in the correct spot, period.

At $10, definitely.

At $20+, no way.

I'd like a digital version of the texts that I could access away from home, but I got enough off the Compendium site to get by.
