Yes. I believe there had been threads on this subject before. But yes. And I've taken a couple of steps toward being prepared. Plenty of ammo for my shotgun, my machete is sharpened, etc.

I've considered what my actions would be. I.E., what family members I can reasonably expect to try to meet up with, who will be left behind, which house is easiest to defend, that sort of thing.

Our house simply has too many large ground-level windows and an open floorplan- read: almost no interior doors- to be defensible in anything resembling a zombie apocalypse.

Apparently, the CDC has a really great sense of humor, and wants us to be prepared for an impending zombie attack.

Well, it depends on a number of factors I think for me. If I'm at work, I happen to be across the street from one of the only gun stores in the city (I'm in Canada, we can't just go to Wal-Mart). If I was here, and could get there I have a much better chance. Sadly, I have three children under 4 years of age so my own escape would certainly be hampered.

I wonder if this Saturday's "end of days" will be the start of the Zompacalypse?
