Welp it looks like most weapons see some use, even if a few of them are head scratchers. Likely I should have added a caveat "if given a choice would anyone use these weapons" to eliminate any "forced to use inferior/improvised weapons" votes, but eh, seems like I've got "good enough" data.

The scimitar votes have me wondering if there's just a lot more dual wielders out there than I've been led to believe.

Sadly, the pike remains sadly near the bottom, with only the blowgun for company. : (

Dual wield is pretty good at the levels, most people play the most.
The sling my monk used was surprisingly very effective. Just packed it, because it was easy to carry and lightweight, and one handed on top.
My halfling monk could pass as commoner with a sling in his pocked and a walking stick and be at full strength in close and ranged combat.

I believe that druids explicitly have the scimitar called out in their proficiency list but currently away from books

They do but there's not a lot of reason to use it. I mean they could use shillelagh with a club for d8 and attack with Wisdom instead of Strength or Dexterity...

The main reason Glaive and Halberd are on the list is that they are completely redundant- I was curious if one was ignored in favor of the other, or if it was really about even. Which so far, it seems that it is about 50/50 whether one is used or another.

But I do feel bad for the Pike. I'm the only person I've seen IRL actually use one!
I used a Pike for several sessions when my character became a Polearm Master and we didn't realize that the feat oddly excludes Pike's from the bonus action attack option. I only chose it because I had gone by a display of heads on pikes and decided "hey, free pikes."

Indeed they do, and it is the optimal weapon for a Druid using dex for their melee attacks since they don't get shortswords or rapiers. It makes a lot of sense for a low level Druid, who doesn't want to spend one of their 2 known cantrips on Shillelagh and likely has a Dex score only slightly lower than their Wisdom to just have a Scimitar for those occasional times someone gets up in their face.

In fact it a the standard starting equipment weapon option for them as well.

I was considering building a viking pirate druid (narratively a viking raider who learned Vanir magic from a Dokkalfar) PC build with scimitar as a cutlass. Unfortunately the game never came together.

I’ve actually been that person to use the more unused weapons, typically for aesthetic or theme. My favorite two have been the Sickle and the War Pick.
