When I first read this, I pictured it as "Have you made any gamers?" in a Frankenstein sense.

I put that I have attempted to bring people into gaming, but haven't been terribly successful.

I guess my problem is that the person I attemted to get into gaming isn't terribly reliable. Oh well.

A friend of mine brought his GF into gaming, and she does pretty well (except for the fact that her "lucky" d20 rolls WAY too many ones. So many, in fact, that our fumble chart has been dubbed the "Mellissa chart"). I doubt that, if she and John ever broke up, she probably wouldn't seek out other gamers, but who knows.

Two years ago we started a "new player" game, filled with women who hadn't gamed before, and specifically designed to not be intimidating. Now four of those players are die-hard gamers. :D

Even better, since two people are moving away, we're bringing another two women into it in the next few months, and the campaign keeps getting better and better.

i only know of one person whom i introduced to gaming that has stayed with it on their own. anyone else was either already a gamer, or lost interest quickly. ;)
