OoC: No change to stated action (casting Guidance, which is shared with Fang), but adding a 5' step onto the table at I5. If the table is steady under Shoot's weight (and remember, he's not super heavy like some 'forged), he'll stand. Else, he'll kneel on the table. Oh, and I'd like Fang to hop up on the table, too, and start squeezing past Shoot.

"They must be cultists of the Dragon Below" says Seat aloud. "Clearly, they worship creatures of the order Tentaculata, or maybe worse!", adds. Clearly, he´s recognized the clues.

ooc: Since I´m almost the last, I´m going to Delay and go first the next round; that way only a cultists will go before me and I´ll know what they did, so I´ll have to use less conditionals in my posts.
 

OOC: Knowledge(local) roll =12. oh well.

IC: Raven recognized danger and doesn't care to be right in its path. She jerks out her dagger (MEA) hurls it at the red robed cultist (SA), and steps back to H6 (5 foot step)

OOC: I think she can do all that. to hit 15; dmg 3
 

Combat, Round 1

Raven hurls a dagger at the red robed cultist, scoring a solid hit to his left shoulder. He winces in pain, but seems undeterred. (Sneak Attack Damage)

Tali arms and armors himself for battle, the bright glow of his mindblade glinting off of the cultist's blades.

Shoot crawls up onto the table, but has to kneel as the table wobbles slightly and the glass lab equipment rattles. OOC: Fang can either crawl up there with Shoot, or maneuver underneath the tables.

Cultist #2 draws his sickle and steps into the doorway, striking out at Tali, but his strike goes wide.

The armored man barks out a command, "Don't return without the documents. I must report this to Master Bryllys immediately.", and then he retreats at full speed down the hallway towards the stairs.

Having no need to wait for a target, Anvuss strikes out against Cultist #2 in the doorway, but his blow finds nothing but air.

Cultist #1 draws his weapon and moves up behind Cultist #2, while Cultists #3 and #4 draw their weapons and move to flank Cultist #1.

Professor Reeger clutches his cane and holds his position, fear evident on his face.

The red robed cultist sneers, and pulls out an ornate silver and gold symbol, a gold brain set over the top of a triangle of silver skulls. He then chants out a spell.

At first, Fang was ready to jump up onto the table with Shoot. But when it wobbled, and some of the glassware jiggled, he decided he didn't want to be atop something so unsteady and quickly ducked underneath his master, heedless of the consequences of the table collapsing. Such was the logic of an animal.

[sblock=IcyCool]Fang narrowly fails his save, using up his half of the Guidance spell in the process. 1d20+1+1(Guidance)=11. As for Shoot, you might want to check his immunities.

Shoot's actions depend on several things. If he is not engaged and Fang needs help, he'll tend to that. If he is engaged, he'll convert Magic Stone to Summon Nature's Ally I and cast that even if he has to take an AoO to do so, summoning a wolf.[/sblock]

Tali does some quick mental calculations, and decides that there's probably no way for him to catch the running armored man. So he intends to clear out the cultists as quickly as possible, so that someone with a ranged weapon or spells can get through.

OOC: Tali takes a 5-foot step to directly in front of cultist #2, then full attacks.(invisiblecastle.com appears to be down; attack +3, dmg d6+2; on a hit will discharge his Psionic Weapon for an additional 2d6)

Edit: IC's working again...
to hit; base damage; psionic weapon damage (1d20+3=8, 1d6+2=4, 2d6=5) Tali almost certainly swings and misses.

Seat feels [probably] something as the spell´s energy fails to do anything to him -he´s spent too many nights fighting sleep studying to fall now, in the middle of a fight- However, he hesitates trying to determine what to do now. He knows the anatomy and weak spots of a large variety of hideous creatures, but normal men are beyond his experience.

"Ah! I have a fear curse from the orc tribes of Daargun. Let's see..."

ooc: Seat casts Cause Fear on cultist #2. Edit: Save DC 14

Spells:

1st level: Cure light wounds, Cause fear, Bless
Orisons: Cure minor wounds, Detect magic, Read magic
