ooc: Move 5 feet to C11 and attack S2. Attack roll is 11. Spending an action point adds 4 for a total of 15. I'm not sure what damage does a torch deal, so I'll leave that to the DM.

OOC: I believe a torch is considered an improvised light weapon (I'd say it's similar to a light mace, dealing 1d4 points of bludgeoning damage and 1 point of fire damage), so you'd have a -4 to hit with it. If you'd like to not spend the action point given that information, that's fine with me.

Combat, Round 3

In the previous round, Fang's jaws closed around the femur of Skeleton #2, crushing it and causing the skeleton to collapse to the ground and stop moving.

Seat kicks the trapdoor shut and stands on it's sturdy surface. He swings the torch at Skeleton #3, but the flaming brand is awkward to swing and he misses.

Skeleton #1 rakes at Tali as he prepares to withdraw, but to no avail.

The skeleton body of the black veiled woman flails at Raven's head, One claw gouges a deep furrow accross Raven's cheek and into her shoulder. Crit confirmed (6 damage total).

Raven responds with a lightning quick faint (which the creature again ignores), and drives her blade through the spine of the animated horror. It topples over in a heap of tattered black satin and bones. While the results of her strike were not unsatisfactory, Raven is certain that her feint and vital strike would have been far more effective on an intelligent, living opponent. She steps back a few feet to ready her defense again.

Skeleton #4 steps up to Raven (moves to E6) and tries to duplicate it's companion's strike, but fails miserably.

OOC: Anvuss is up next. Patlin mentioned going out of town, so if we haven't heard from him by this afternoon, I'll decide what he does.

Seat = 25
Skeleton #1 = 24

ooc: I've seen various rulings on what kind of weapon a torch is, so I wasn't sure. I'll save the point, then.

OOC: My face-to-face group used to rule them as a club that did 1d3 fire damage, but after someone pointed out just what a club looks like compared to a torch, we generally ditched the idea. If you have a better source for what you think a torch should be, by all means let me know. I'm not terribly resistant to change. In the living worlds, I'll try to be as consistent and close to the rules as I can however. :)

OOC: Ok, so I was close ;). It does 1d3 instead of 1d4. Still not a shabby choice against the skeletons, except for the penalty to hit.
OOC: True. They actually do quite a bit more against swarms, which is where some of the confusion lays.

OOC: I'm not going to post another action for Raven yet. It depends too much on what the others do. For what its worth, I want to say that I'm LOVING this combat. Very exciting. One thing. I did state that Raven took a 5 foot step back after her last attack. So she should be at D05. Which means Skelleton #4 should probably be at E6 if it moved up to attack her. I wasn't sure if the orc had a long spear or just a normal spear. I didn't want Raven to be subject to a reach attack from him.

OOC: Thanks! :) And I missed the 5' step, so I will amend my last combat post. You are correct in that the half-orc has a longspear (sorry if I missed that).
