Healer's Lore + Healing Surge?

If my Cleric uses a healing surge or second wind does his healer's lore affect that HP he regains? No where does it explicitly state that a healing surge is a "healing" keyword power, but it would make sense.

If my Cleric uses a healing surge or second wind does his healer's lore affect that HP he regains? No where does it explicitly state that a healing surge is a "healing" keyword power, but it would make sense.

Are either of these coming from cleric powers? Snippet from Healer's Lore:

"When you grant healing with one of your cleric powers"

Typically neither second wind, not spending healing surges during a short rest, are cleric powers, and so do not receive the Healer's Lore bonus.

I never thought a surge would trigger the lore ability, unless it was through a power. Cure light wounds is a spell with the healing keyword, so that would trigger.

You can use your healers lore power during short rests. It just takes longer as you wait 5 min. for the reload. It helps when you are pressing to get more encounters in for each day
