Mouseferatu gave us a hint in another thread that you can't regain your daily powers more than once per day.

all I know is what was written in the DDX rules reported in one of these posts, you rest six hours, you gain all your hps, all your healing surges and get all your powers ready to use. maybe there are other rules we don't know yet.

Lay on Hands let you use a healing surge so no surges no healing. I bet that the potions and such will do the same thing. It really looks like there are no spells per se just powers atleast that is what i am seeing so far.

LOH let you use one of the paladin's surges, beside you can still roll a 20, or more simply
someone can roll an heal check dc 15 to stabilize you then you can rest 6 hours and be back at full strength.
