Help! -- Cleric stuff

For more general tactics, pick up persistent spell and divine metamagic if it is allowed. Use these with dvine favor until you get access to divine power and then you'll be doing just as well as the fighter in the group.

Other good spells to keep on had when you get access to them are GMW, Magic Vestment, Spikes (by a wooden mace or something), and Divine Insight.

Where do you find Persistant Spell?

I found it, thanks.

So, basically, do do the Divine Metamagic+Persistant Spell trick with Divine Favor and such spells.. I'll need:

Divine Metamagic, Extend Spell, Persistant Spell...

And then spend 6 uses of Turn Undead to cast Divine Favor and make it last all day? Am I right here?

Yes. It even makes Divine Power into 24hour/day spell.

And that is a combo many DMs consider to be broken. So you would better talk with your DM. .... or may not

Question- since you asked about racial suggestions, could you tell us what options you have?

We know you can use the Eberron races- anything else?

Anything I can find in a book like that, I can pretty much use. He's kinda lenient, as long as I/we don't try to screw him over and he catches us. Still, that's a lot of feats and turn undead attempts gone pretty quickly. Would probably have to get Extra Turning to make that work. If I pick human, it'd be level 6 before I could make all of that happen if I'm counting right, due to the feats required.

I was thinking of taking Radiant Servant of Pelor for a PrC (and kinda converting it to an Eberron deity)

Probably everything in the Eberron Corebook. I could talk him into an ECL +1 or +2, but I'd hate to get behind in levels like that. My group usually sticks to standard races, but one or two of us have been known to branch off.

Is there a better PrC than Radiant Servant of Pelor that I could be looking towards?

Ur-Priest seemed kinda.. I dunno, loop-holish? I could do some serious damage if I could capture the right kind of Outsider.

No no *smacks self*. I want to play a good-aligned guy! Back away from the Ur-Priest!

Well if you play a human with the Planning domain (which gives extend spell as a bonus feat), then you can grab Persistent spell and Divine Metamagic [Persistent Spell] at first level.

As thanee pointed out though, it takes 7 turn attempts to pull this off, so you may want to pick up an extra turning (or have an 18 in CHA). The undeath domain (LM) gives extra turning as a bonus feat, so there is another option. Since you start at third level though, you could grab extra turning as your feat there.

Really though, I want to underscore my point from before. If you have access to Races of Eberron, pick up the transformation domain and play as an outsider (Neraphim from the planar handbook are ideal if the flavor works). Once you start polymorphing (and even using alter self) you will have some awesome abilities. You're starting at 3rd level and you will already be able to fly, swim, burrow, change into forms with huge natural armor bonuses, and pick up random racial skills when needed.

Edit: Someone pointed out above that persistent Divine Power may be broken, but I strongly disagree and you could probably convince your DM as well. It takes a huge investment of feats. The only way it gets broken is if you start using nightsticks or spelldancer or some other trick to make all your buffs persistent.

You have to be a shapechanger (changeling of shifter in Eberron) withouth a specific deity in order to pick the transformation domain.
