D&D 5E Help: Getting rid of spell slots

Would spell cast DC or mana be a better system?

A group I'm with recently did an extended playtest running adventures at levels 5 through 11 with the DMG spell point system. What we realized at the higher levels is that the ability to throw out more of the higher level spells both was a big increase in power. My personal take on that is that it breaks action economy because you can do a lot of high level stuff, removes the need to be tactical in keeping your highest level slots for this encounter or another, and also leads to more 5 minute adventuring days.

So I have to vote for the last poll option as it's the only one that at all reflects a strict limit on high level slots that I think the current caster classes are balanced with. I don't think you're an idiot, it's good to explore and to customize to get what you want. But that's the only choice on hwo to vote from what you gave us. ;)
