More great suggestions...awesome.
I had been toying with the idea of swapping Int and Dex to get an 18 Dex...and going for a mix of ...
Fighter, Barbarian, Rogue ...we might eventually hit level 15, so I was thinking of an eventual build like.
Fighter 9, Barbarian 3, Rogue 3
The barbarian hit points make up for the rogue hit points, I get to move back to 30 ft movement (even in medium armor - though I'd probably go with light armor for the full dex bonus). I'd have dark vision, evasion and 2d6 sneak attack if I could use it.
For feats maybe...
Weapon Focus (Dwarven Waraxe)
Combat Expertise
Two Weapon Fighting
Oversized Two Weapon Fighting (Complete Adv)
Weapon Specialization
Sense Weakness (Draconomicon)
...and other feats that I can find to fit the theme, more of the TWF chain perhaps and more of the Weapon Specialization Chain, perhaps Improved Critical.
Stat improvements would go to Con and Str.
As to feats from 'other books'...I can get those, I just have to go through a moderate questing/training process. It's not going to be impossible, just going to come with a cost associated with it.
Of course, I still keep telling myself...swap int and dex, I'd make a killer Monk.
Oh...if I did go with the TWF Dwarf above, would it best to take my first level in Fighter?
