Help! I think I'm turning Japanese.

For some reason, whenever an apostrophe or quotation mark appears, my computer changes that symbol and the next letter into a Japanese kanji character. Do you know how I can fix this. I'm pretty sure it's not a board problem, but something on my own computer. Did my computer get set to Nihongo mode or something?

"Nihongo" is Japanese for "Japanese language," by the way.

Right-click on the screen and change the code to something else than Japanese?

Darkness has the right idea.

Right click on the screen, choose "Encoding", and choose "Western European (Windows)". That is assuming you're using Windows and want the standard European font (english/spanish/french/german/etc. character set).
