Can some good aligned person help me choose spells for Arcane cleric?
I have highlighted some spells that speak to me:
level 6:
Arcane Gate - thinking with portals
, this spell could be used as an improvised catapult to laugh creeps/stuff at creeps
Mass Suggestion - As a cleric, I prefer to deal with enemies without the use of violence.
Magic Jar - At first this spells seemed amazing (combined with Deathward), but after I realized that every caster in the game has access to Dispel Magic, I quickly lost taste. (That and the fact that I've been told, you cannot swap bodies with this).
level 7:
Forcecage - no save, one hour cage to cast Sacred Flame on your unfortunate enemy
Simulacrum - double all of my spells for 1500gp
Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansio - safe place to rest in, undermined by the fact that Create Food and Water is 3rd level spell.
level 8:
Demiplane - storing loot (I hate it when group has to have three mules to collect loot during adventuring)
level 9:
Wish - what else?
