You can be any class that's in the book or homebrewed, given that it's not OP. If you have a backstory for your character awesome! If not I can help you out
He is in self-exile to the far edge of his family's mercantile guild empire. He is supposed to be running things, but mostly leaves that to the steward and goes out as guide/escort/bodyguard for various caravans. Sort of has a semi-death wish, but not quite.
To start off the campaign I'll give each player 50 gold (or more) to spend on anything they want and anything they can think of, within reason of being in the city. (I'm going to do this to embrace the freedom of the campaign and so they have time to get into the game while other players finish creating their characters)
Haha yeah makes sense, anyways originally I would totally run a small pub sene for character development and such but since this is over text it'll be more difficult, although it is up to you haha I could get right to the important parts or we could have some fun with improvisation
