Help! My GM's trying to get me pregnant!

Several choices you have here that maybe you haven't considered:

1) You could come up with another character idea to temporarily replace this one for several months and 'retire' this character in game time for some period. Then come back to this character later as a PC or follower if you get Leadership and connect the two.

2) Talk with the GM about being inventive with this option. Have the child and have him turn out to be a plot hook (good or bad). Might be a good time if your at high enough level to take leadership and introduce a Devoted Defender!!

Just a couple of ideas, but i'm sure others may have better.......so let's hear them folks!!!

I'm not sure of your alignment or race, but I know a npc in one of my games was running a slave trade. Human babies tended to fetch the highest prices as far as babies go given they mature first. Dwarven Young Adults are bigtime sellers because they will work 20 hrs and produce top knotch products. Just a thought.

Forgotten Realms (I think the FRCS, or Magic of Faerun) have herbs that act as contraceptives for a number of days.

I just don't think your DM should mess with your character that way, if you don't want him to. Also, 6 or better on a luck roll? I hope that's on a d100 / week at home schedule or something. I just got married, so ever since my big fat (not greek) wedding, my big fat (not greek, but you'd never guess) family keep dropping tidbits like this: Fertility doctors won't even schedule a couple until they've been trying for a full year. <sarcasm> Of course, they'd never dream of pressuring us to have kids so soon. </sarcasm>

I told Chris, the DM, he was being totally sexist. I mean, it's a fantasy universe why shouldn't men be just as likely to get pregnant?

Biology, mainly. Though I could easily see someone coming up with a spell that would allow for just such a thing to happen.

He also said there wasn't any contraceptive magic so I'd have to research a spell.

Heh, he said that, huh? Oh by all means, run with that. Can you imagine how rich you would get if you were the only person who's unlocked the secrets to worry-free whoopie? It'd be like being able to mint your own money.

So anyway, if I do fail the roll what are the rules for adventuring while preggers?

Officially, there arn't any. Unofficially, there are a number of sources for the kind of materials you're looking for such as the Book of Erotic Fantasy, Netbook of Sex, Guide to Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, and so on. Just poke around, you'll find something.

Any apothecary or herbalist shop should be able to provide an effective herbal/medicinal remedy to prevent or rid yourself of a pregnancy. This sort of thing has been done for centuries by developing cultures.
