So I just reached what was considered "name level" in older editions. I have a 9th level thaumaturge, and the power upgrades were minimal, especially compared to other party members with 5th rank spells, etc.
I got an ancestry feat that lets me Aid an extra character and a "big" class ability that is underwhelming. Intensify Vulnerability gives me, as a mirror/weapon thaumaturge, my choice of two abilities.
1) spend an action to get +2 to hit something I've exploited vulnerability on (until the start of my next turn.)
2) spend an action so my mirror duplicate is concealed until the start of my next turn (but I still can't move).
The GM and other players agree that this is disappointing. I can suggest house rules for next session. Do y'all have any ideas?
