Help! Someone's going to play a Frenzied Berserker!

Who cares, as long as they keep coming back.
An Undead creature can't use Deathless frenzy. The lich version of the FB would go poof and later reform, a vampire version would become a cloud of mist rather than a red mist of blood, meat and bone somehow still swinging a weapon

Not at risk of death from massive damage, but when reduced to 0 hit points or less, it is immediately destroyed.

I would add a "Disintegrated" rule for a FB character. At some point there isn enough of the body left connected together to keep fighting. Perhaps x2 base HP (before stuff like raging and frenzy).

That said, I did have an FB used in a one shot high level. The big problem was as another poster mentioned, keeping him alive since his ability to sustain damage meant that he could easily be knocked well below what even Heal could fix. His "turning" on the other party members was generally pretty easily dealt with at (18th lvl), but when you've only got 2 heals and he's at -350hp...

At some point, you know it's time to take Old Yeller out back of the barn and put him out of his misery.

No, no, no. We do not put Old Yeller to sleep in fantasy games. Old Yeller receives a Cure Disease. Or an atonement. Or divine intervention. Or whatever is necessary.

Oh dear lord, it's Old Yelladin.

He wasn't rabid, he just detected some evil!

Think of it as entertainment...

We have a guy who has his heart set on playing an FB, he's obsessed with having a 30 strength. At 9th level (minmaxed barb 2/fighter 2/cleric 2/some PrC that gives bonus to will saves). He already does around 80 points of damage on a crit, but has no AC and low hitpoints (80ish).

I got sick of playing the healer so we don’t have a healer right now.
Sooner or later he’ll frenzy. Then he’ll die. The game (Eberron) doesn’t have much raise dead.

But if it does then that’s also pretty good. In fact it would be awesome.
He rises to 10 becomes FB, frenzies, dies. Drops back down to 9th. Works his way back up to 10. Get’s FB again, frenzies, dies…. Rinse and repeat.

To his credit Mr. Min-max has freely said that the first time he attacks a party member he expects for the group to kill him.
He’s in it for the chuckles.

I know, but it would have been funny ;)

Certainly heavenly broken, but fun.

I agree. He's essentially saying, "hey, everybody!!! I'm gonna do a bunch of p.c.p., then run around with an axe. Who knows what'll happen? Cmon, it'll be fun!"
Hell with that.

Signatured! :P

Fantasy shmantasy, Human tissue should not be able to absorb the damage it takes someone to get to -20 HP and still be operational, let alone -200 HP.

It always gets me what people find implausible in D&D. Humans in D&D can absorb the damage it takes someone to get to -20 HP; all that takes is 21 points of damage. There are some humans running around that can absorb enough damage to get someone to -200 HP, however absurd that may be.
