Help: Sorcerer spell list.

I forgot the dispels - definetly get greater dispelling. I would not bother with plane dispel magic - too risky that it won't work when you try and counterspell or dispel magic effects in place - especially since you are multiclassed.

btw - don't take 3 levels of rogue.

Take first level in rogue then go straight sorcerer. As soon as you can multiclass into guild thief. That way you can reach 18th level casting to get those 9th level sorcerer spells.

Thanks folks. Tons of good ideas. I am just going to take enough Rogue levels to be able to get into AT. I do not want to loose too many spell levels. :D

Has anyone used the Shadow Evocation / Shades spells to good effect? I am thinking that they will go with the character concept and help make up for a lack of spells.

Thanks for the input.

Don't forget you can always "trade down" spell slots, so if things get complicated, just convert all your slots to Magic Missle and blast everything that moves.

Have fun.

probably my favorite tactic! *wolf points up*

and don't forget to use your Ray of Cold, you did take ray of cold didn't you?

Magic Missles ... and more Magic missles ... ray's of cold (oops disrupt undead is a good one too)

True strike is good if you're gonna use a crossbow ... cast, shoot, reload

Where is Guild Thief found?

Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (FRCS)

Found Guild Rogue in PCGen. It won't work, I need several restricted skills at rank 7. I will need four levels of Rogue in order to get there. :( Good try though. :D

Rogue 4, Sorcerer 6 and then into Arcane Trickster. Not fond of the idea of loosing so many caster levels, but the character concept just rocks. :D

Well for Arcane Trickster you need at least 3 levels of Rogue (for the 2d6 sneak attack) and 5 levels of Wizard OR 6 levels of Sorcerer. The only spell you HAVE to have is Mage Hand - So be sure to take that as a 1st level sorcerer...

As for Guild Thief - that requires 8 ranks of hiding, meaning a minumum of 5 levels or rogue. Not something you want to do unless it is later as a roleplaying thing - as in you take over the local thieves guild?

I do love this prestige class. It makes the entire song & silence worth it.

If you are willing to give up a feat for it, you could get the last rank of Decipher Script from Lore Master. This gives +1 spellcaster level at 1st level so it wouldn't hurt your casting ability.

I don't think there is a way to avoid 2 levels of rogue for the second sneak attack dice. Then again, it also gives you evasion and the first level of Uncanny Dodge so it isn't that bad.
