Help with Archer build

Unless your campaign takes place entierly within the confines of a dungeon absouetly take the mounted archery feat chain. With a full move and full attack at your disposal no place on the battlefield will be safe from your hail of arrows.

The Prc's mentioned on this thread (Arcane Archer, Order of the Bow Initiate, Deepwood Sniper, Peerless Archer and Exotic Weapon Master) are all good choices. With Ftr 12 as your base build I don't really think that there is much multi classing amongst the other base classes has to offer. Maybe some levels of Cleric?

Or, you could just stay a straight fighter and try picking up some other abilites. Improved Initiative is always nice to help you get into position early, Quickdraw can save your life if an enemy gets too close and maybe you can find some neat exotic ranged weapon to play with (bolas maybe? ). The saving throw feats are always good as is Blindfight. Maybe even take a look at leadership. Try to expand your horizions a little.

Mix in one level of Warmage and you get true strike that can be cast while in light armor. True Strike + Manyshot at high levels..

The OoBI special attack requires a standard action. Its good when you want to move or have a suprise round. Personally I use it either when I can't take a full round action or for punching through Damage Reduction. Its only effective up to 30' like any other precision based damage, but increases to 60' at 10th level. (Other precision damage becomes effective up to 60' away also.) The benefit it has over the sneak attack is you can use it past the first round. (To be an effective ranged sneak attacker you need improved invisibility or blink.) Depending on what your damage modifier is it may be more advantageous to many shot, but that has a hefty hit penalty.
