I've never liked his style, particularly when compared to Brom, Barlowe, or DiTerlizzi. The mouths of too many of the bad guys look like they just bit into a particularly bitter lemon rind. Oh well...

I'll give him this: at least it's real art as opposed to digital.

Man, I have never thought of this until now, but has anyone made an encounter from the various beasties depicted on a cover of a monster manual/bestiary?
I only just thought of this as my PCs may be heading to the underdark soon and I would so love eo just show that picture as what they see/encounter. :)

Wayne’s covers aren’t striking a cord like the first edition.
8 months in and we get a second bestiary...5e was 2 years before Volos.

Also talk about lead time for the next book...with people complaining about D&Ds 4 month hints and that apparently annoying people...so does 8 months out bother them as well?
