There was 5 minutes of plot + the utter stupidity of further overpowering Sylar. Unless there is a major depowering of Sylar at the end of this Volume, this is my last of my watching the show.

I, on the other hand, really liked it.

I'm assuming they're planning to actually defeat Sylar at the end of this season.

Edit: However, tissue regeneration is not the same thing as rapidly breaking down alcohol and avoiding intoxication. Claire should never get cirrhosis, but if this show had anything akin to science, she could get drunk.

What over powering? The guy uses like 3 abilities of the dozens he has. Luckily the writers aren't creative enough to do anything with his unused powers.

In-character explanations are not the same as real explantions. Claire can be wrong and believe it and father-flyboy as never really been the sharpest tool in the Petrelli drawer. :)

Really, no one in the Petrelli family has shown a marked aptitude for clever thinking. But as long as the show keeps focusing on people's personal narratives in the midst of a challenging situation, instead of just doing totally random crap, I'll keep watching.

I cannot wait to see what Auntie can do. :D

I don't think he's too overpowered, we still don't know if he has all the powers he's collected over the course of the show. A good villian or a collective group must be super powerful, thus relying on the pcs to use thier brains to defeat him/her.

I still found this episode incredibly boring and I have started to care even less about clair and nathan (2 of my least favecharacters) and the sylar side story seemed like a foregone conclusion. It didn't get good until the end where they fooled me ( i thought the hunter was the shapechanger). Still the shapechanger story made no sense. He doesn't leave town, he goes to the same bar he always has, despite a government agency after him. For some reason he goes to the HQ of the evil government agency. He can look like anyone and go anyhere... just makes no sense. He touched a dozen people in the club, he could have blended in the whole night and gone undetected.

Yes, this. At one point my girlfriend incredulously said "there's still more left," stunned that we were only at the 45 minute mark of what already seemed like 75 minutes of dullness.

I've been a big Heroes cheerleader for a long time here, trying to find good things to say among the criticisms, but man, I don't know, I feel like I'm moving towards "do not like."
