The ship arrives
The ship can be seen from a good distance away. It is cylindrical in shape, with a diameter of almost 10' and 20' in length. A window is set into the front, and several portholes line the sides. As anticipated, the ship has both a fore and an aft door. On sighting the ship in the distant astral, you gather together and prepare to put your plans in action. As the front of the ship comes into view slowly creeping down the tunnel, you hurriedly cast your preperatory spells. Invisible, you wait as it enters the hollow center sphere and slowly rotates, turning to face back from whence it came and then sidling over to the outside of the docking structure, where it seems to attach by some mechanism unknown to you.

All the while, the Githyanki can be seen looking warilly about through their portholes, but they do not appear to see you. As you prepare to put your plan in action the hatch opens, and three Githyanki archers step out onto the dock. Behind them, a female Githyanki wielding a morningstar can be seen. Those inside the dock can see that the Pilot appears to be manning his post inside the ship for the time being.

Surprise round actions?

SlagMortar

First Post
Planus knows he should wait for Iggy to summon his badger, but those summoning spells just take so long, and he had already been waiting in the mine for so long. He also knows Mongrel has given him just the right spells for this situation. He calls on Mongrel's blessing and as a result immediately becomes visible.

OOC:
I didn't want to waste Planus's excellent initiative by delaying, and a Prayer should only help the warriors rush in and secure the ship before it escapes. At least that's what Planus is thinking. :) Call him out after the battle if it doesn't work.
Swift action: Cast prayer: +1 to hit, damage, saves and skills to the good guys, and bad guys get -1 to the same.
Standard action: Cast blindness (DC 16 fort) on the pilot if Planus has line of effect - probably not. Otherwise, blindness on the female gith with the morning star.

Spells prepared:
0 (DC 13) 5/day: Detect Magic(x2), Light(x2), Guidance
1 (DC 14) 4/day: Bless, Divine Favor (x2), Protection From Evil
2 (DC 15) 4/day: Shatter, Silence, Spiritual Weapon (x2)
3 (DC 16) 3/day: Blindness, Prayer, Dispel Magic
Domain:
1 (DC 14): Longstrider, Disguise Self (prepared)
2 (DC 15): Locate object, Invisibility(prepared)
3 (DC 16): Fly (prepared), Nondetection

Charlarn of Phyrah: male human cleric 5/ranger 2

Surprise round:
Charlarn grasps his silvered falcon and intones the words to a hold person spell (Will save DC 15, duration 5 r), "Lady Phyrah, freeze my foe." He releases his holy symbol and points at the female githyanki.

Round 1:
Charlarn will ask that the githyanki surrender. Then he'll pull a piece of Phyrah's holy text from his pouch and cast shield of faith on himself (+2 deflection bonus to AC, duration 5 min). A slight breeze swirls around the cleric, surrounding him with a shimmering silver field.
