Heroscape?

Rel and I were in a local Raleigh, NC gamestore last weekend, and saw Heroscape on sale -- for $60.00

Looks interesting, but for 20 minis at $40.00, or 16 minis at a little over $20.00, I'll stick with the D&D Minis, and my Book Club discount.

Yes, Henry, but I've already pointed out that this guy is not known for his low prices so much as his wide selection.

Jeez, yea I'd stay clear of getting that from him. You might want to casually mention to him that he's way over-priced. I admit it's hard to compete with Wal-Mart sometimes, but that guy's not even trying!

I understand the hexes are closer to 1 1/2 inches, but how big are the round bases?

Are the character figs closer to 30 or perhaps 32mm, if 28mm is standard for a plastic D&D mini?

Actually, he said as much when I mentioned that Wal-Mart was selling it for 39.95.

I just picked up the expansions this evening. Fun game. Easy set up, easy rules, tons of fun.
