Hey Planescape/Monte Cook fans - c'mere!

Is DiTerlizzi doing the art?

Is WoTC granting them the use of any Planescape Product identity?

Have they simplified the way magic works in the planes?

Many have compared this product to the old Planescape products. In what ways is the product most unlike Planescape products the authors have worked on in the past?

What was the most elegant new mechanic included in BCD?

I love the Planescape setting. I'm a new convert, having only recently picked up the boxed set. But it's an amazing piece of work!

Great interview to get... I'm envious! :)

A splurge of questions!

Could you give us an explanation of the cosmology? Is it based on or compatible with the 'great wheel' system? Does it include the Abyss, the Elemental Planes or of the other 'familiar' planes?

Is there a central meeting point for the gateways?

Are there any widespread factions?

When will it be out for release? And can you make that any sooner? :D

If I remember well, I have read somewhere that Monte Cook somewhat preferred a "Million Spheres" type of Cosmology to the typical D&D Outer Planes wheel. That is, in terms of MoP: the variant "Myriad Planes Cosmology". I would like to know if this new book will be headed in that direction rather than being a new incarnation of Planescape.

Here's one I want to remember -- how would Planescape have been different if you didn't have creative interference from TSR management?

Similar to your question, PC...

Who first came up with the idea (at TSR) for the Planescape line, and how did that vision differ from the final product?

Q: if i wanted to read further for ideas or possible background... what are your reference materials? will there be a list/bibliography?

I'd like to know which planar factions the writers actually agree with, and if they ever try to put any of the ideas behind the factions into practice.

Also, what do they see as the future of Planescape in the years to come?

Do any of the authors know if WoTC plans on relaunching or selling the rights to Planescape? And if sold, would it be something they would be interested on redevolping?
