Hide from Undead (C1) and a Light Source

Hide from Undead seems pretty effective. I am curious if undead affected by the spell would notice the light given off at night by a PC's light source?

I am thinking yes the undead would notice the light but not the source kind of like Invisibility.

What say you?

I say remove the spell. It was placed into the system back when undead automatically saw invisible creatures. Now that invisibility works against the undead just fine, the spell is unneeded.

Interesting thought. Hmmm...

The spell is currently being used in a PbP. Assuming that you did not take it out how would you rule - the same as invisibility the light is seen but not the source? Or they would not see the light?
