Hide = Invisible?

The tingling means it’s working!
So I'm looking through the Combat Modifiers of the SRD and see that "Attacker Invisible" = "+2 to attacks, and defender denied his Dex AC".

So, say I'm a 1st level Elf rogue with improved init and I've successfully hidden. I'm 25 feet from my opponent. I shoot him with my bow. Do I get the +2 for Attacker Invisible? If so, do I get the +2 bonus if I win the initiative and the target is still flat-footed?

Now, say that instead of attacking after the surprise round I instead take a Move action to move 30 feet back (not straight back) into the trees. I then take the Hide action. Am I effectively Invisible again? Could I Ready an action until defender moves into line of sight within 30', and then shoot him again (as a sneak attack at +2, since I'm Hidden and thus Invisible to him)?

Seems like unable to see opponent = effectively invisible, but I'd like a second opinion.

You get the +2 the first time you shoot or every time if you have improved invisibility. This is entirely a separate issue from the target being flat footed. If the target lost sight of you then I suppose you could get another invisible attack. This is much easier if your hide is 30 or 40 over his spot. If the woods are dense enough it should make it easier.
