In the original movie "Highlander" during the scenes showing Conner living with his wife Heather in Medieval Scottland, there is a peice of music playing. The music is Celtic style sounds traditional, it is sung by a female voice. It also appears in other movies and sources.

Can anyone identify this? I'm looking for it.

I just listened to all the scenes with Heather in them (go DVD player!), but couldn't find any singing except the one peice by Queen... I don't think that's what you mean.

Hmm, It's been a long while since I've seen it, I thought thats where it was, i know it's in that movie... hmmmmm....

sorry to waste your time

You're thinking about Bonny Portmore. It is a traditional song and I believe it was sung by (at least on the television series) Loreena McKennitt.

[Edit: I guess I should learn to read the entire thread before posting. Fyrie beat to the punch by one post. :( ]
