Hints about Complete Arcane?

The front page no longer offers links to upcoming WotC project pages on THIS site, and their accompanying bits of news, hints, etc., and when the pages still exist, they've got little to no news. Not a complaint, just an explanation as to why I'm posting here asking:

What do we know about what's going to be in Complete Arcane? All I know so far is that the Warmage will be reprinted from the Miniatures Handbook (which I actually bought for the D&D content, despite it only being the first half of the book), and the Master Transmogrifier and Wild Mage prestige classes will be in it as well. (Or will Wild Mage be a core class?)

Anyone know anything else about the contents? Any word if the Sha'ir from Al-Qadim will appear as a core class?

I know Warlock will be a core class. I also believe Sohei(sp) is mentioned as another core class.

The Shai'ir I doubt will be present since they pretty much didn't translate a lot of the stuff from Dragon 315 that I'm aware of. Nor any DS stuff either.

Are you sure about the Sohei? If that is correct, it'll have to be very different from the OA Sohei core class, which was a warrior-monk type casting a few divine spells, with all spells (or almost all) on its list drawn from the cleric list.

I think I read somewhere that the OA reprint class would be Wu-Jen, not Sohei. That makes since since in Complete Warrior they redid Samurai and in Complete Divine they redid both Shugenja and Shaman. I would be very suprised if Complete Arcane doesn't give us Wu-Jen and Complete Adventurer maybe give us Sohei.

The Wu-Jen would make a better Asian Arcane spellcaster for the book...

Do we know anything about this class?

I was at a seminar during Gencon where Bill Slavicsek announced that the Warlock class will have a totally new way of casting spells. No max spells per day, and no spell slots. He stated that this would be something no one's seen before.

Alright folks firstly I tend to get old OA classes mixed up...and I meant Wu-Jen. Not Sohei.

So Shilsen you were right.

Bryon and those inquiring about the new Warlock, my understanding from what was posted a while back, the Warlock has a lot of spell-like abilities that increase as it gains more class levels. I don't remember much else but I do remember that.

You're probably right about Sohei being in complete Adventurer. But again I mixed them up.

I'm hoping that they keep most of the prestige classes from Tome & Blood without altering them too much, as well as introduce some new ones.

It's possible...but I hated a LOT of those Prestige classes in Tome and Blood. Some however did get moved into the other complete series.
