Most weedeaters are plastic. The little cord that does the cutting is plastic fiber, and most of the housing is plastic. Otherwise, it would be just too heavy.

This is the first time I looked at a Hivemind thread. I think I just stepped into hell, but the good part is.. I enjoy it.
