Okay, Faeries by Bastion Press has a lot of cool ideas and is a good read. If you like mecha, Armegedon 2089 is a good read with a good history. If you like supers you cannot go wrong with Mutants and Mastermind, but the better book is the setting book called Freedom City. Of course without the rule book, the setting may not make as much sense.
